WriteFully Yours

Oh my, I finally have a blog and find myself a bit speechless. (A shock to my friends and family, for sure.) Sort of like a microphone stuck in your face and all you can think of is, "Um..."

Weather, always a good, safe topic. Today is an untypical Southern Oregon day. Most July days we grouse and grumble about the heat, then grumble about our utility bills as our air conditioners grind out cool refreshment. But today my AC rests, and I'm almost chilly here in my Peace Cottage , the funky place I call home.

A good day to work on crochetted hats promised a year ago to four great nieces. And a good day to write. I just sent a submission to a compilation book, so the clock starts ticking as I await their yea or nay. Next, I'll check in with Sparkie and Eleanor, sisters in my novel The Fix-It Sisters. Look soon for a posting of the first chapter and you'll want to know more about whimsical Sparkie and her practical sister, Eleanor as they navigate the remodeling problems of their recently-purchased old house, as well as a mystery plopped in their laps. Eleanor is all for calling the police, Sparkie is certain she can solve it on her own. Let the fun begin.
